I'm Alex, the owner & baker behind the Neighborhood Bread Basket, an in-home microbakery! I am an inpatient rehab physical therapist, wife, & mama. My husband & I moved to Wanamaker in 2023 and quickly fell in love with this small town within the city. It was in 2024 that my cousin gave me a sourdough starter, and the rest is history!

I specialize in handcrafted sourdough and indulgent chocolate chip cookies. Each creation is prepared in small batches with care and simple ingredients. I am passionate about my community, and adore the mission behind one of our neighbors, Hope Center Indy. 10% of all profit is donated to Hope Center Indy, which aids and provides love to survivors of human trafficking.

I'm excited to serve you with nourishing foods to enjoy around the table with the people you love. Looking forward to meeting you at the bread stand on a Sunday for pick up!
